Request a free Home licence

OctoEdit is free for personal and educational use without any licence. A Home licence is the registered version of that: the same Standard features, your name in the file, and no more purchase reminders.

Free, for personal and educational use — pupils, students and teachers included.
Standard features, exactly like the free edition; the Pro tools need a commercial Pro licence.
Issued to adults only. A child uses OctoEdit in the free edition or under a parent's or guardian's Home licence.
Not for commercial work — for that, see pricing.
